Information Architecture for the World Wide Web

Information Architecture for the World Wide Web

In my ongoing quest to better understand usability and related issues, I read this one, which talks about "information architecture". After reading the book I'd still have a hard time defining that term. My best attempt would be that it attempts to unify the language and concepts used in a system, in this case a web site or sites.

It was interesting but a bit dry, and much of what it discusses does not apply too much to the types of apps and sites I work on, which tend to be smaller scale. Nonetheless, it is useful information to know, and something I may come back to in future projects.
