This is the sequel to The Family Trade, though based on some email I exchanged with Charles Stross, I know that they were originally conceived as one standalone novel.

I think I already said everything I wanted to about these books in the last entry.

I was disappointed with Stross's Accelerando, but I thought he was back in good form with these two. I look forward to future books in this setting.

If you're like me and hate cliffhangers, rest assured that these first two books form a complete, self-contained story. The third book begins a new self-contained story, but Stross told me that one will be either three or four volumes, so I'll be holding off on starting it until it's complete.
