A Useful Cookbook

This book is that rarest of all things, a useful cookbook-style tech book. I'm generally not a fan of the genre, because it seems they waste huge amounts of page space on trivial examples that you can learn by simply reading a language spec.
Web Standards Solutions does contain simple examples, but it also contains a lot of intermediate-to-advanced ones as well. I could've done without the goofy polls/quizzes at the beginnings of many of the chapters, but that's a small nit to pick.
Very useful stuff to anyone working on web design.
