Robert Borski

Well of course I had to read this

Being a long-time Wolfe fan (thus the urth.org email address), I had to read this. It's a series of short to medium size essays about some of the many, many unresolved questions in Wolfe's Book of the New Sun.

The topics cover a number of aspects of the book, including the always-discussed questions of who Severian's relatives are. The author presents some interesting theories on who his mother and grandmother are, as well as one about the implied, but never confirmed sister, Severa.

While I didn't necessarily agree with all of his conclusions, I appreciated the thought Borski has put into all of these essays, and regardless of whether he's right, they're all good food for thought on your next re-reading of the Book of the New Sun.
