But not for web sites. Apparently most people just randomly scan web pages and click on the first thing that seems right. So designing in a way that makes them more likely to hit the important points first is the way to go.

This book was really interesting, as I've made lots of web pages, and even a few apps, but I've never read anything on how to design for usability. It fills me with a burning desire to redo VegGuide.Org from scratch, but I'll wait til I've read a few more usability books to really go down that long painful path (again).
